Each stallholder can enter more than one category.

We have 12 categories:
BEST SMALL, MICRO AND MEDIUM-SIZED BUSINESS
If you stand out across the board this category could be the one for you. Outstanding products coupled with great people, innovative marketing and customer service to be proud of are the kind of strengths we are looking for. Impressive financials to prove that your business plan is working.
BEST LARGE BUSINESS
Based on the same criteria as the Best Small, Micro and Medium Size Business category, this award will be given to an outstanding business employing more than 10 people or with a turnover above R100 000 per month.
BEST HEALTH SERVICES
Health is a vital consideration for all humans but if you can demonstrate an outstanding commitment in this area and have raised standards across your organisation we would love to hear from you. The judges will be looking for measurable achievement resulting from any innovative initiative, programme, team or campaign.
BEST CAMEROONIAN FLAVORS
This culinary category is open to anyone whether working in a commercial or cooperative restaurant, whether you are a professional in the culinary or pastry arts, whether you own a restaurant or work from home. The following criteria will be used to determine the winner of this category:
- Originality of recipe
- The taste:
- The presentation
BEST 4 FASHION MOGULS OF THE YEAR
Best Designer, Best Hairdresser, Best Make-Up Artist, Best Manicurist & Pedicurist
Criteria under these sub-categories
- Creativity: Designers need to come up with original and creative ways to make the piece of work they make to stand out.
- Sense of style: have an eye for which fabrics, accessories and colours will compliment a person’s skin tone (a garment strong sewing skills, designers need to be able to properly construct, design, embellish their creations.
- Knowledgeable of Current Fashion Trends: The ability to anticipate what the latest trends in fashion will be will help keep any designer at the top of their game.
- Competitive Spirit: designers must be willing to push themselves and continually strive to stay one-step-ahead of their competitors.
- Be Detail-Oriented: must have a good eye for small details that can make a design successful).
YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR (UNDER 32 YEARS)
To take the lead in bringing new business to an organisation, or to identify new ways of working and have the skills to see these through is something that deserves recognition, especially when those at the helm are under the age of 32 years. We want to hear from young entrepreneurs who have done exactly that and have achieved outstanding success for the business. You will have had a significant impact and attracted attention across the sector and beyond. Tell us about your motivations, your ideas and your instinct for identifying opportunities in the market. What exceptional results have you realised and how do you intend to expand your influence further?
ACHIEVEMENT AND LONGEVITY (25 YEARS IN BUSINESS)
This Award recognises the business personality who best represents achievement and longevity. The Award acknowledges the winner’s sustained achievements within the business Cameroonian community through distinguished resilience. Eligible nominees are those who have been in their chosen business for at least 25 years by 31 October 2022.
FAMILY BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
Can your family business be termed exceptional? What does it bring to the industry in which it operates and what is its standing within that sector? Does operating as a family concern bring particular value to the business and how does this manifest itself for the workforce and clientele? Tell us of the success that your family business has enjoyed, and the challenges it has faced along the way. How important is the ‘family’ aspect to its brand and how does this have bearing on its ability to thrive in today’s market? Lastly, what plans are in place for future development?
BEST COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT INITIATIVE
Have you recently undertaken an initiative in support of your local community that has motivated and engaged fellow Cameroonians within your community? How many Cameroonians are involved in this initiative, and what benefits do they derive from this? Give examples of what has been achieved and what practices are in place to ensure that vital work of this sort continues in the future.

BEST CAMEROONIAN COLLABORATIVE CHAMPIONS
These are leaders who have strategic view, great leadership skills and a great understanding of the business environment. They are Cameroonian community collaborative champions.
Subcategories are:
- FINANCIAL EVENT SPONSORS (cash sponsors)
- IN-KIND SPONSORS (provides goods or services, contributes more value to the event. Examples: venue sponsors, prize-giving sponsors, food sponsors, digital sponsors)
- MEDIA EVENT SPONSORS (media sponsorships primarily through social media and company’s website and premises)
- PROMOTIONAL SPONSORS (managers or influencers who have a large following on social media. You can promote our event to your fan base)
