Cancer Awareness Campaign February 2023

Breast and cervical cancers are two of the most prevalent cancers affecting women, according to the World Health Organization (2015). Early detection is essential to keeping women healthy and alive. Wii Care educates members of African communities present in South Africa on health topics and health-related issues. Helping sensitise women to health issues, and giving them the confidence to seek assistance, is vital for us. We believe that helping them adopt healthy lifestyles early on is key to a long and healthy life.
Today is our first fundraising event and we are very excited to have you here. We decided to take this celebration to the next level with lots of activities and laughter. Please support us by buying tickets and entering the draws as many times as you can.

About the day

Two of the ten most common cancers in females are sex-specific (uterus and ovary), compared with one of the ten most common cancers in males (prostate).
